Vela Software is expanding our high-performing M&A deal origination team. We’re seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to identify and nurture acquisition opportunities that align with our strategic goals.

This is a C-level facing role where you’ll play a pivotal part in our transaction lifecycle.

Source and qualify software company acquisition targets that meet our strategic and financial criteria.

Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, business owners, brokers, PE/VC funds, and other stakeholders.

Manage and nurture a pipeline of M&A opportunities through meaningful engagements and follow-ups.

Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce preferred) and contribute to our proprietary industry database.

Review company materials and conduct preliminary assessments.

Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities for growth.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Software Sales / Business Development or M&A sourcing / Corporate Development.

Native Thai speaker with excellent English communication skills (highly desirable).

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Proven success in cold outreach (calls, emails, and other channels).

Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

Self-starter with a high level of autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking.

Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Willingness to travel as needed.
