Today, Somapa has hundreds of Engineers and Business Analysts with specialized experience in National security systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems. The Corporate Timeline gives a detailed outline of the growth of Somapa within its two chosen business streams, from inception up to the most recent project which was awarded in 2015 and which was for the provision of an Advance Passenger Processing System for all of Thailand. Somapa Information Technology PCL was Founded as a private company within the Somapa Group of Companies in 1995 and became a public unlisted company in 2012.

National Security Systems focus on the protection of a country’s border. Somapa has more than 18 years’ experience in designing, implementing and running border protection systems by land, sea and air.
Today, the ever rapidly increasing ease with which people travel between countries and the increase in international terrorism has caused their governments to more securely protect their borders.

2. Intelligent Transport Systems
Somapa and its associated company Kollakorn Corporation Limited of Australia, are innovators in the area of vehicle tracking systems. Using a unique Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system and tag, they can provide Governments with the ability to securely control vehicle movements and to efficiently record and collect road taxes.
